I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor located in Orlando, Florida. I have 5+ years of experience working in the field assisting individuals and their families with navigating the challenges of eating disorder recovery, healing from trauma, and managing mood disorders. I aim to create a therapeutic environment where my clients feel deeply understood, supported, and valued, as well as provide a safe space for individuals to explore and navigate their personal journeys towards healing and growth. My ultimate goal is to empower my clients to find peace of mind, embark on a journey of self-discovery, and achieve personal growth. I strive to be a source of support, encouragement, and guidance as my clients navigate the complexities of their lives and work towards positive change.
I use a client-centered approach in my practice, ensuring that each individual feels heard and understood throughout the therapeutic process. My approach is grounded in empathy, kindness, and genuine care for each individual's well-being. I integrate various treatment modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which allows me to offer a comprehensive and personalized approach to treatment to meet each client's unique needs and support them effectively in their mental health journey.
I attended the University of Central Florida where I obtained my Bachelor's in Psychology, and Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. This educational background has equipped me with a deep understanding of human behavior and the nuances of mental health, enabling me to provide informed and effective therapeutic interventions. I am also currently pursuing my Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) certification to continue to enhance my expertise and proficiency in addressing the complex challenges associated with eating disorders.
